Saturday today and I had the afternoon/night shift at work. I realized that I haven't explained what I actually do at work so here we go :) Every shift starts with that I count the till check reservations for the day and if there is anything else special for that day. We have different dinner specials every day, for example today beer and brger for ten bucks. During the afternoon shift I also have to wipe down all our menus and rolling cutlery is a duty that never ends throughout the whole day. It is also my job to seat all the guests and take their drink orders. Clean tables and help the servers with whatever they need is also a part of what I do. Today it was really really slow, during the first hour we didn't have any guests at all haha, so spent much of the time talking with my co-worker and two of the "regulars" that come every day for a cup of coffee.

Also had time for some hot yoga today!

Yesterday was work and practice, nice nice. And after the practice me and one of my new roomies had some good stretching, massaging and watching a movie. Very chill and nice friday night! On thursday I spent a couple of hours with my au pair friend, just talking and we went for a long walk along a lake close by her house. And talking about her house, it was a long time since I spent time in a normal family household. Evrything was so clean and there was so much and different food in the fridge. Haha guess I've gotten used to living with young poeple with a lower budget, volunteers and students. Me and Clarissa, that's her name, talked about maybe taking a tour to the rockies. That's a thing Id like to see before I leave Canada, but then i realize that I don't even know how muh time I've left - will I have time to take a trip? I'm not really used to having a job where you can't get any many days off in a row.. Well well I'll hope for the best and that I'll be able to go at some point.

Så roligt att du talar om vad du gör på din arbetsplats. Det är ju så att man har funderat lite kring vad som är dina uppgifter på jobbet ...och dom verkar vara många.
Här hemma delar vi upp jobbet "rättvist". Farfar gör ca 80% och allt det övriga gör jag (lata farmor)
