I'm alive and having a good time!

Vancouver and last days in BC
I don't know when I'll post this, but it'll be the next time I get internet access. I'm sitting at Victoria's airport right now and waiting for Agnes to come. Jen dropped me off and earlier today we went for breakfast/lunch downtown – it was so nice! So Jen if you're reading thank you again!
.
So this weekend I was in Vancouver, the main reason i was there for was regionals with CRD, but I was also there to 'see' Vancouver. Haha it's kind of bad not to have been in Vancouver (other than playing ultimate) when I've been living in victoria for almost five months. So me and Jen took an early ferry, which didn't become so early because it was late. Anyways we got to Vancouver and met up with Tay and then we went to a baseball game – my first baseball game! It was fun and I think I now all the rules by now :P We had some beer, fries and popcorn and simply had a good time
.
After the game I was shown some of the touristy things in Vancouver. And what is better than to be shown by a true Vancouverite?! We went to queen elisabeth park(?) with a nice view over downtown vancouver, then Granville island, and Stanley park.
.
Funny thing about these places were that we saw a wedding at all three of them :)
.
Then we headed to downtown and just walked around, it was really nice! Had a japadog, haha a hot dog with some japanese stuff on it, it was... interesting. We went to Rogers arena and then took the skytrain back to where we parked the car. With sore feet of all the walking, we decided to go and have dinner. An all you can eat sushi place was where we finally ended up. Never had it before, so thought it was quite funny how it worked – you write down everything you want on a piece of paper and give it to a waiter and then you get the food. Haha and you can order how much you want. I was so full afterwards.
.
Saturday morning and ultimate was going to be played :) My last (and first) tournament with CRD and it was fun to play some real games together, we've only practiced together before. We won the first game and the O-line which I'm on has some sweet playswhen we broke the zone-D. Second game wasn't as successful. We lost by 15-1 and I played like crap. Anyways, I can always blame it on that we played the best mixed-team in Canada, and they won worlds in 2008. It was raining all day and for some reason we stayed at the fields for lie two hours after we stopped playing – soo cold!
.
We were done very early so we couldd have taken a ferry back to Victoria but we decided to hang out and party in Vancouver instead. My last night with many of the frisbee players I've met here, so a bit sad but I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who was a part of it!
.
Gosh this is a long entry! Sunday and we went back to Vic – came home around 5 pm and then I started to pack. I don't know how many times I packed and repacked today and yesterday. It ended up being a huuge backpack and an extra bag – wish me good luck carrying it all around!
.
My last night in Victoria was spent with some ulti people playing Wii fit in 'my house'. It was really fun and we got to see some hilarious hoola hooping moves!
.
So yeah, that was my weekend :D And now I'm leaving Vic behind me, I've some mixed feelings about it. I'm soo excited for my upcoming plans and at the same time it's abit sad leaving everything.
.
I don't know how my internet access is going to be the next couple of weeks/months so maybe this is the last blog post for a while...
.
So yeah now I'm in montreal and can finally update this blog! There will hopefully soon be another one :)
